Common Issues
F-440 is not reading accurately. Check for fouling or debris in the flow meter. Check to ensure the unit is rated for the size pipe onto which it is installed.
F-440 does not read anything. Check that fluid is present and flowing properly. Check the float as it may be stuck. Debris may be blocking the inlet of the flow meter. Remove and clean.
Float is stuck. Remove the flow meter and clean it properly. Ensure the float is installed correctly with larger diameter at the top. Contact the factory if problem persists.
