Normal Operating Conditions for F-400 Flow Meter
The F-400 will provide simple flow indication when there is flow in the pipe, giving the user feedback on the status of the water flow rate. It can assist when setting the speed of variable speed pumps to achieve optimal flow rate. I will also help troubleshoot when flow issues are present.
The reading of the F-400 flow meter is simple. Read the level of the float in relation to flow marking on the unit for either GPM or LPM. Note any adjustments or variations if using a fluid besides water at 70 F. Fluids with different viscosities or specific gravity will give different readings.

To read flow, line up the top of the float with the markings on the flow meter.
There are no adjustments necessary, but if you feel the flow is not accurate, we recommend checking the meter for debris and removing the flow meter for inspection and cleaning.
