Remote Start/Stop

If the MD3 (Legacy) pump has been programmed for Remote Start/Stop feature, press the Start button to put the pump into Ready mode.  (When in Remote Mode, the display will show “REMOTE” in the bottom right corner.)  The pump will run if receiving a signal (depending on how the Contact Closure is programmed.) If the pump is waiting for a signal to run, it will be in “STANDBY” state. The display change color and will read “STANDBY” if waiting for a signal from the user-provided control system. Once a signal is received, the pump will start/run.

Diaphragm Failure Detection (DFD) and Tube Information

The MD3 (Legacy) pump is equipped with leak-detection located behind the diaphragm.  If a diaphragm fails or leaks for any reason, the chemical will trigger the sensor, stop the pump, and activate an alarm.

If DFD alarm occurs, the pump will stop, close an alarm output, and the screen will flash with a red alarm. If the system has detected a chemical, the pump must be serviced and thoroughly cleaned.

Remove the pump head to diaphragm.. Failure to clean the pump head properly will void the warranty.
