Job Summary
A marketing coordinator assists in the development and execution of the overall marketing plan of a brand or company. This may include website creation, event marketing, direct marketing, or media management. Marketing coordinators provide creative materials during content development or help with data verification. They assist in the execution of marketing strategies by providing target reports to key stake holders.

Essential Job Functions

- Maintains CRM system to ensure data is being added accurately and updated regularly.
- Manages imports and exports of data from CRM.
- Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
- Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars.
- Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
- Supports sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, new product information; relaying customer services requests.
- Assists the marketing manager with execution of various meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; coordinating mailing lists.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications.
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Experience/Training/Education
- BA / BS degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field
- Proficient in excel
- 1-3 years’ direct experience in marketing, communications or public relations
- Strong project management skills
- Knowledge of Salesforce and/or CRM systems

Technical: Exceptional creative, visual arts and communication skills. Ability to write and speak clearly and convey information effectively, as well as exhibit excellent listening skills. Must demonstrate strong in-depth knowledge of marketing and branding strategies and tactics. Skilled with planning, overseeing driving, and evaluating effective marketing campaigns. Ability to organize, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records. Prepare correspondence, statistical data, and supporting documentation, and provide exceptional sales and marketing leadership and support.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong working knowledge of flow meter product terminology and processes. Ability to read and interpret documents such as customer questions, product bulletins, notices and instructions, and procedure manuals, as well as an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to envision and direct development of product graphics and promotional information that resonates with B-W employees, distributors, and customers. Ability to communicate diplomatically and respectfully with senior management, peers, employees, and distributors and customers.
Math & Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to compute and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
Physical and Environmental Elements
Physical Demands: Ability to sit for up to 1/2 or more of normal work shift for PC input, research and administrative tasks. Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and to reach with hands and arms occasionally. Ability to talk and to hear continuously. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally. Finger dexterity is required frequently for up to 1/4 of the normal work shift for PC input. Ability to see at close range (20 inches or less), at a distance (clear vision at 20 feet or more), ability to identify and distinguish colors, ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point, three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships, and ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
Work Environment: Employee works in an office with moderate noise levels (such as computers and printers) and controlled temperature conditions. Occasionally exposed to un-airconditioned factory environment with moderate noise levels and fumes. Frequently exposed to vehicle and/or commercial air travel to various climates and indoor work environments.
Special Requirements
May be required to work and travel on weekends and holidays as business necessitates; schedules will be determined by senior management with at least 48 hours in advance notice.
